"Unforseen Circumstances"
(Sun, 19 Apr 2009 06:32:48 +0100)
First of all, let me say that I'm very sorry for the numerous pauses. Family emergencies have taken me here to Florida, where I will be staying at LEAST until next weekend. As soon s I get back, we'll finish. Once again, I'm very, very sorry that this has moved along with all the smothness of a square wheel, and I appreciate you all hanging in there. Hopefully in the future things will progress at a much more even keel! Once again, thank you for your patience! -Irte

Moving on up to the East Side
(Wed, 15 Apr 2009 08:03:45 +0100)
A snippet from the current Tynderian Post: The big pink house that lies across the plaza from the main entrance to the Smith Archives has been occupied by the same person for millenia. Quinn, the head of many of the day to day activities for the Archives, has kept this brilliant antebellum home in perfect working order since he began working at the Archives shortly after the collapse of Cirna. At the time when he purchased this house, it was a modest one-story in what was then the dirty, unpaved streets of Tynder-upon-Banck. Far from being the landmark it is today, it was a simple home, where Quinn lived in peace, climbing the employment ladder. Over the centuries, Quinn would lovingly oversee the expansion of this house... first enlarging it horizontally, and then vertically, adding two additional floors to the home. He didn't just expand the home, however, he also claimed what would become prime realty, establishing a beautiful garden on the property, and erecting a home for his wait staff. This would eventually burn down, and be replaced by the charming garden cottage that stands on the old staff quarters, and now houses interplanetarily renowned musician Ambrosia when she comes home to roost after a long tour, but it would seem that Ambrosia won't be occupying the garden home for much longer; she's moving into the main home. "I know there's been a lot of questions as to our relationship, but I assure you," Quinn said, when interviewed about his decision to give the house to Ambrosia as an engagement gift, "She's as a daughter to me. I love her dearly, and wish nothing but the best for she and Elhoan." Ambrosia and the former prince of the High Elves will be moving into the house soon, as Quinn has purchased a small home in the Tynderian countryside. rumors are abound that he will, over time, be developing this property in much the same way as he did the famed Pink House. "What can I say? Even I grow old and weary. I look forward to a quite life in the countryside with the Corinedes and Sould. The bustling heart of the city is no place for me anymore. Leave the hustle and bustle to the young, and move on to greener pastures!"

Missions Reminder
(Sat, 11 Apr 2009 08:27:47 +0100)
The first GM mission will be run and completed by Friday of this week. As a reminder, anyone who has a character is not only invited, but ENCOURAGED to create their own mission, which may or may not revolve around their character. The basis of this is creativity, so why not try to make something everyone will enjoy? There's a forum for user-created missions to be posted, or if you want to keep it secret, you can feel free to talk to irte or Xach one on one. There's some cool ideas going on with characters, and I'd love to see some of those great ideas expanded upon! -irte

Updated Charge's Pages: Now with 100% More Physical Description!
(Mon, 06 Apr 2009 22:51:32 +0100)
Figuring out RSS is hard, but I have conquered the behemoth. Updates will now be dynamic from my on-site blog (see the last bullet point below), so I won't have to keep editing the damned welcome page every time I want to make something known. Hooray! That being said... All the main pages of the Charges have been updated to include physical description updates, as apparently that was a little confusing. Hope this cleans that little bit of unpleasantness up. The first mission will truly take off on Tuesday evening. Be there! You can read a summary of all parts of every mission by checking out the missions wiki. Play is open 24/7. This isn't a 'just when missions' are going on, thing. I don't know how to encourage people to play outside of missions, but... you can. So, you know.. go for the gold, brosef. If you wanna read the blog by itself for whatever reason (Non-RSS-ified), here you go, champ. I think that about covers it for now. More to come.
